Verona is located at the junction between the Milan (160 km) – Venice (115 km) motorway and the Brenner pass (220 Km) – Modena/Bologna (140 km) motorway. The G.B. Rossi hospital is 4.5 km away from the city centre, close to the main railway station (Verona Porta Nuova) and to the Verona sud (south) motorway exit.  

Getting here by plane

Verona Airport ‘Valerio Catullo’ is located 12 km southwest of Verona. The airport offers connections to the major European destinations, including the international hubs of Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, London Gatwick, and Rome. 

From the airport, the aerobus service (running every 20 minutes) will take you direct to Verona Porta Nuova railway station. From there to the hospital, you can take bus number 21 (direction S.G. Lupatoto/Pozzo), 22 or 72 (direction Policlinico), or you can take a taxi. You can otherwise take a taxi from the airport direct to the hospital. 

If you hire a car at the airport, follow the indications to tangenziale sud di Verona (ringway south) and take exit 4 (Borgo Roma). Then, follow the indications to Ospedale Policlinico.  

Getting here by train

The Verona Porta Nuova railway station serves a number of lines including to Milan, Rome, Venice, Florence, Bologna, Munchen and Paris. From the station, take bus number 21 (direction S.G. Lupatoto/Pozzo), 22 or 72 (direction Policlinico). Alternatively, you can take a taxi to the hospital.

Getting here by car

Motorway A4 (Milan-Venice): take exit “Verona Sud”, than follow the indications to Ospedale Policlinico.

Motorway A22 (Modena-Brenner pass): take the exit “A4, direction Venice, after few kilometers, take the exit “Verona Sud” and follow the indications to Ospedale Policlinico. 

Verona ringway (south): and take exit 4 (Borgo Roma). Then follow the indications to Ospedale Policlinico.
